Effective date: 13 August 2025
This Opt‑Out & Preference Management Policy explains how you can control marketing communications, cookies and similar technologies, interest‑based advertising, and other data uses in connection with peakalliancehub.com and our Corporate Director Training Programs (the “Services”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1) Scope
This Policy applies to visitors, prospective customers, corporate learners/participants and alumni. For enterprise cohorts purchased by your employer, some notices are controlled by your employer (see §10).
2) Your choices — overview
You can:
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails (newsletter, event invites) — see §3
- Opt out of SMS/WhatsApp marketing — see §4

3) Marketing emails
- Click “Unsubscribe” in any marketing email, or email privacy@peakalliancehub.com with subject: Unsubscribe.
- We aim to honor email opt‑outs immediately, but please allow up to 10 business days to take full effect across systems.
- You may set content preferences (programs, topics, frequency) in our Preference Center (link in email footer) when available.
4) SMS/WhatsApp text messages
- Reply STOP to opt out; reply HELP for help. Standard message/data rates may apply.
- Service/operational texts (e.g., login codes, schedule changes) may continue where permitted and necessary to deliver the Services.
5) Phone calls & postal mail
- Phone: ask our agent to place you on our Do‑Not‑Call list or email privacy@peakalliancehub.com. We will honor within 30 days.
- Postal: email privacy@peakalliancehub.com with your full name and address; allow 30 days to process.
6) Cookies & similar technologies
- Use our Cookie Settings (banner at first visit or link in footer) to enable/disable Analytics, Advertising, and Functional cookies (strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled).
- You can also control cookies via your browser settings and clear existing cookies. Blocking cookies may affect site functionality.
- We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal for relevant jurisdictions by treating it as an opt‑out of sale/sharing (see §8) and turning off non‑essential cookies where technically feasible.
7) Interest‑based advertising & analytics
- When enabled, we and our partners may use cookies, pixel tags, device IDs and similar technologies for analytics and interest‑based ads.
- You can disable these categories in Cookie Settings. For additional controls:
- Google Ads Settings & GA opt‑out add‑on
- LinkedIn Advertising Preferences
- Device‑level ad settings (iOS/Android)
- These controls are browser/device‑specific. If you clear cookies or switch devices, reapply your choices.
8) California — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
- We do not sell personal information for money. We may “share” limited identifiers with advertising/analytics partners for cross‑context behavioral advertising.
- California residents can opt out by:
- Clicking “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in our footer or Cookie Settings, or
- Emailing privacy@peakalliancehub.com with subject: CCPA Opt‑Out.
- We process CCPA opt‑outs within 15 business days. We also honor authorized agent requests (see §11) and GPC signals.
9) EEA/UK/CH — Right to object / withdraw consent
- Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time (e.g., for analytics/ads via Cookie Settings; for marketing via §3–4).
- Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object to processing. We will assess your request and stop processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or need the data for legal claims.
- To exercise rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection), contact privacy@peakalliancehub.com. See Privacy Policy for details.
10) Enterprise cohorts (B2B)
- For employer‑sponsored programs, certain operational emails and progress reports are required to deliver training and may be sent to you and your organization.
- Some preference settings may be administered by your employer as controller. Direct opt‑out requests about employer‑mandated communications should be sent to your employer; we will support them as processor under the DPA.
11) Identity verification & authorized agents
- We may request reasonable information to verify your identity before actioning an opt‑out or rights request.
- Authorized agents (California) must provide proof of authorization. We may ask you to confirm the request directly with us.
12) Appeals (US state privacy laws)
If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email within 60 days. We will review and respond within 45 days and provide contact details for your state attorney general where required.
13) Limitations & exceptions
- We may continue processing where required for transactional/operational purposes, security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and to honor your choices (e.g., storing a record of your opt‑out).
- Some opt‑outs depend on cookies; clearing cookies or using another device/browser may remove your settings.
